Around, III.

Hi! Few words today as per the photo heavy post, but I wanted to share some of what I've been shooting now that I'm back in Boston. I'm not keen on Boston, but it's been really lovely to catch up with some of my favorites in different parts of the city, and to work on a few creative projects for my last bit of time stateside.

To that end, if you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to check out the newly launched sites of my friend Ale, and of JSJ Events. Both are full of beautiful, inspiring content made by equally beautiful, inspiring people, all whom I was lucky to collaborate with (here and here!). Especially given the current political climate and the apparent propensity towards bigotry, it's paramount that we continue to do and support things to counter that bent. Art, fundraising, expression-- these are all hugely necessary to combat the chaos.

Also!-- and this is something I'll expand upon later-- but all of the negativity and toxicity doesn't eliminate the positive things that are already around. Politics are terrifying right now; this is something we have to grapple with, in huge ways. Still, beautiful things can exist in tandem with awful ones; we can (and must) go against the insanity, and at the same time we can (and must) notice good.

This all perhaps sounds a bit preachy, but I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm terrified by what's happening, and I'm enraged. I'm also spending time with really exceptional people who give me some hope that it's not wholly terrible, and that perhaps we can make it better.

Finally: if you're interested in collaborating while I'm here, contact me! And if you're interested in getting involved with any of the people or causes featured here, get in touch and I'm happy to make connections.
