Dominican Republic, Part 2

Hello! I'm writing this from Amman, Jordan for the start of a research and documentation project on the region's refugee crisis. I've been sharing updates from the field on my Instagram, and will be sharing a more extensive post in the next couple of the weeks. You're welcome to contact me with inquiries or for further information!

In the meantime, I wanted to pop in with the second half of images from my trip to Muñoz, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. You can check out the first half with information and resources on Haitian statelessness in my earlier post here. On that note, please check out Project Esperanza, the organization with which my group worked, and consider making a donation if you're able. They're one of the few organizations working at the grassroots to affect change and bring attention to a hugely important political issue and population.

Light on the text for this post, but the bottom gallery is full of photographs from the bateye itself. Please don't hesistate to reach out with questions on the community or my trip, and keep an eye out for photographs from Jordan soon! xx
