A couple of weeks ago (oof, cheers to being behind on posting as per capricious wifi), I visited Musanze in the northern region of Rwanda with my boss. He was delivering a presentation on genocide studies to a group of education professionals, and had me along to help. Of course, that devolved into helping with the presentation and also asking to stop an exorbitant amount of times on the drive back to take pictures.

The following are photos from Musanze, a town in the north known for its volcanoes and gorillas, and from stops along the way back to Kigali. For additional portraits from this trip, visit this post and check out my shoddily made, dashboard-cam video of the drive here.

And, in the name of shameless self promotion, don't forget to subscribe to keep up with posts, and follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
